The Shakespeare Bits
Well, actually not by him - nice of you to think it. Makes me realise how great Shakespeare really was. It's in iambic pentameter with the second two lines of each verse rhyming. Why? Well, it seemed like the right thing to do. There is this voice that seems to know everything that happens and what will happen. Very annoying. Who is this guy?

That female heart of stone in hot pursuit,
And female blood shall gorge that gentle brow.
The road to silence bears on to the right,
Or will she turn down left and pitch the fight?

Now sorrow haunts the heart that got away,
And darkness treads where love was once the king.
So strike the band, please, love take what is best,
Be well assured that greed will take the rest.

Good news awaits the heart that wanted much,
But bad will follow bad 'ere day is done.
The night do thicken much before all ill
Becomes a monster, red-eyed for the kill.

Celestial love did save that tattered heart;
A simple lad of simple truth and head.
And so the world with all it's treasure hoard
Will tell you not that love alone is lord.
